Grab a learning TV Controller that is backlit and train the keys on the TV Controller to the buttons on the keyboard.  That is what I do...  Like he said, Plug-n-Play.

Does it have a back-light to distinguish the keys in dark environments 
(typically when I watch tv) ?

That's what I am missing with the small wireless keyboard I have.
