[mythtv-users] Problem with switching channels in livetv

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 with 3.13.0-34-generic kernel using linuxtv from 
media_build git (compiled yesterday)
MythTV: 0.27.4-fixes from git (compiled today)
GPU/CPU: NVidia ION / Atom 330
TV 'cards': PCTV 290e and Hauppage Nova-T 500

When I watch LiveTV I get a weird problem.

I go into livetv and the channel starts playing, I then change channel, the 
new video displays then freezes and then myth starts playing the video from 
the beginning of the livetv recording - if you then skip forward you get to 
the video of the channel you changed to.

It can do this several times when changing between different channels and 
eventually the playback will exit and I get the error message 'Error opening 
jump programme file buffer' displayed on the front end. This has been tested 
with no recordings taking place. Recordings are not affected just livetv.

This occurs whichever tuner I am using (and changing tuners doesn't solve 
the problem), I've also tried recording the livetv onto different disks and 
filesystems (currently using JFS but have tried with XFS as well) and using 
an older kernel.

To further annoyance it happens intermittently.
