[mythtv-users] Auto-switch From Live TV to Recordings - Without Warning

On my two tuner system I've run the following tests with repeatable results.

With ad-hoc, single recordings set to start at the same time on channels 
"A" and "B", and a live TV show being watched on channel "C", just prior 
to the time for recordings to start the system popped up a 30-second 
warning window that provided options regarding continuing forward with 
the recordings or dropping a recording to allow live TV to continue.

With long term, recurring recordings set to start at the same time on 
channels "A" and "B", and a live TV show being watched on channel "C", 
the system provided no warning window, dropped live TV, and switched to 
recording activity on channels "A" and "B".

The only difference I can find was the single vs recurring recordings - 
but that seems an unlikely cause for the difference.

Has anyone else experienced this scenario? Is there a setting I've 
missed somewhere in MythTV?
