It needs to be fixed in xfce4-settings first. See
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-graphics-drivers-331/+bug/1308105.
It's actually not immediately obvious from the thread whether it's fixed or
not, but what I took away from it is that there attempts to fix it that
didn't work.
