I needed a new TV and figured why not? Netflix has 4k stuff, as does 
Youtube. My TV provider will have it in the next year or so by the looks 
of things

It will eventually have more content, so if I'm going to buy a TV to 
last me the next 5-10 years it'd be silly to invest in old tech 
(standard HD)

Upscaled standard HD looks absolutely amazing on it regardless, as does 
upscaled PS4 stuff

They're also not that expensive any more
