Hi All,
After a little pain getting my MeegoPad t01 (Intel Bay Trail Quad Proc,
2GB, HDMI Stick) to run ubuntu 14.10, I now have a silent, wireless, HD
and wonderful cinema-like experience in the bedroom.

	Happy days!

After being pretty happy with a Raspberry Pi model B running kodi and
xbian, I've ditched that for a meegopad t01 based solution which gives me
the option of running kodi or mythfrontend. Complete Happiness!

I have to confess that the combination of kodi + Cmyth working seamlessly
with our mythtv backend was really starting to appeal to me but the Wife
Acceptance Factor of mythfrontend has forced my hand.

Anyway, for those that are interested... here's my combination of
hardware for a cinema experience that amazes me:

meegopad t01 HDMI stick - ~$120AUD
Ebay USB 7.1 Virtual Audio MIC Headphone Speak Stereo Sound Card Adapter
Dongle - $4.99AUD

TP-Link Archer T4U - Free with Archer D7 router (normally ~$45AUD)
Bose SoundLink Mini - $175AUD
Vivtek Qumi Q5 Projector - ~$549AUD
Cheap 7 port powered USB hub - ~$12AUD

If I waited a bit longer for Ubuntu 15.10 it might be that the 3.18
kernel may support the builtin Bay Trail System On a Chip (SOC) HDMI audio
and the builtin wireless... but I already had the TP-Link Archer T4U,
which was free with my D7 router and the cheap Ebay USB $4.99AUD usb audio
adapter.

The trickiest part to getting it all working was compiling the driver for
the T4U, which I got from here:

And getting ubuntu on to the embedded 32GB emmc storage was a little
nerve racking... but the following youtube video helped reduce the stress:

The other great thing is that I can throw all this kit in a bag and have
a cinema experience anywhere there's a white wall.

Thank you so much mythtv devs!

	Cheers,

	Doug
