Yeah, I figured that out after a little while. Then I saw it changing the
frequency when playing some of my mythvideos. I originally thought
"separate video modes" meant changing resolutions. It's all good now.

If I get a 240Hz TV will it make mythtv's playback of my 25Hz video
smoother? I figured it would look the same since it can't seem to keep up
at 60Hz. Maybe you're saying that a new TV will support a 25Hz refresh rate?
