hdpvr 1-5:1.0: firmware version 0x15 dated Jun 17 2010 09:26:53

This is the firmware that I have been using..I have never experienced 
any of the problems you are having.. The hdpvr has been bullet proof for 
me..  The only other thing is I use firewire for channel changing..
