Yes, it should work as you're expecting it to. (Set bookmark on FE1, resume
playback from the bookmark on FE2.) It does for me. That's exactly how I use it$
and I use it a lot.

Yeah, I'm not sure why the others jumped on the "Action on playback exit"
setting. You seem to have that part working on FE1. But for the record, mine is
set to "Always prompt (including Live TV)". It should also be fine on "Save
position and exit". I looked through my other settings and didn't see anything
else you'd need to set.

Many themes display an icon indicating whether a bookmark is set. It may be
easier to use that for troubleshooting instead of checking the database.

Something else you can try: Select the recording, bring up its menu, choose
"Play from...", and elect to play from the bookmark or from the beginning. It
probably won't work (because I'm assuming the frontend doesn't recognize that
there's a bookmark), but it's worth a shot since it's so much easier than
remembering the time and skipping ahead.
