Given that I can tune MOST channels without a Tuning Adapter, is it
likely that I need one? In other words, do I only need the tuning
adapter for channels like FX, SPIKE, USA, CNBC, NBC Sports, TV Land, etc.?

I can confirm that the hdhomrun_config_gui can select some channels that
I'm *supposed* to get (but that don't show up in the channel scan) with
some really oddball settings, like virtual channel 0, physical channel
105, program 21744.

Thanks,
Phil
