Some channels do broadcast in multiple languages - that's pretty common
in Switzerland for instance. However, removing channels I don't want
is a hassle - I have some 4000 channels I think, most of which I don't
want.

I know, I know - I am not looking for a work-around, I was looking for a
feature. Last year when I first started missing this feature, shows
like "The Big Bang Theory", "Two Broke Girls" and "Nashville" were
running on at least 4 channels, only in English, maybe a few more in
dual language. Time-shifted one hour, most recent series somewhere,
earliest series somewhere else etc. I am a great fan of "Record at any
time on any channel" - having to specify a set of channels is more
hassle.
