[mythtv-users] suspend

So I was able to get one working using this as a guide.
http://bernaerts.dyndns.org/linux/74-ubuntu/220-ubuntu-resume-usb-hid

I tried using this same procedure on the bedroom computer but it does not
work. Its ubuntu 14.04 and the rest are 12.04
I think I am going to chase down how xbmc does it and try to use/link it in
mythtv.
Suspend works with xbmc on all my computers and versions of ubuntu. So the
bios has to be set up for it. And there must be a script or something
somewhere that xbmc uses that works globally.

Reading through this list and this thread in particular, the suggestions I
read seem to make it more complicated than it needs to be. adding nomodset
to grub, having to configure things to run without sudo rights and such. I
really appreciate the suggestions but I dont think it is all that
complicated on a frontend only.
I do appreciate the suggestions. And if I find a simple way of doing this
I will share it here.
This is the last time I will reference xbmc as I know it irks some people.
Thanks to all.
