I'm using dual displays. I had lots of video tearing problems when I
was using Nvidia twin view. I'm now running with two independent X
servers and that works great. I can't move windows from one display
to the other, but otherwise it works fine - the mouse moves from one
display to the other and I can cut and paste from one to the other.
My TV is an old HD CRT with component video inputs and my 2nd monitor
is a HDMI input FHD monitor.
