It's occurring to me as I sit away from my system, watching grandkids, what
I really want is a clean 14.04 desktop with myth all decked out. The reason
I walked away from that was not knowing how to get past the "couldn't
connect to database " loop syndrome. Because I now do understand this, on
Monday I am going to install 14.04 in the partition where 12.04 was on the
terabyte, along side the recordings.
I'm very comfortable with the Ubuntu desktop environment, and did run into
a lack of audio on mythbuntu, so again many thanks for all the
contributions, wish me luck with this next endeavor. Daryl
