You can fiddle with grub and make that the default. I used to like the old
grub, with the new one I have to google how to change it every time, so
won't post a howto.

What I really wanted to say is that ATi/AMD graphics drivers seem to
currently be a train wreck. I have read a lot about it on XBMC forums, and
it is enough to confirm my view to stick to nvidia, or intel, or anything
but AMD.
