I run 0.26+fixes and my backend keeps recording too, but I end up with
two recordings. One from when I started LiveTV until I pressed "Record"
and a second one from when I pressed "Record" until the end. There is
also no indication in the frontend, that it is still recording. Only
mythweb gives me the status. Could be a theme problem though...

I just tried it a few minutes later and this time everything worked as
expected.
