[mythtv-users] Mythvidexport fails with external usb drive storage

I seem to have got past my earlier problems with failed metadata and 
getting mythvidexport working after moving to 0.27.

I've now change my video storage directory to a usb hard drive which 
show in my system as /media/chris/linuxpart/mythvids.  My mythvidexport 
user jobs now fail but I can't see any clues why from the logs.

That's where the log ends.  Seemingly, no error is reported.  As far as 
I can tell, the metadata look up works and then the save to Television 
folder fails, but no clue as to why. The permissions are set the same as 
the default video storage folder /var/lib/mythtv/videos which was the 
target directory before I changed it to be /media/chris/linuxpart/mythvids

I'm using 0.27.

Anyone know why I can't do what I used to do with 0.25 and use 
mythvidexport to save to my usb drive?
