I add an extra 2 hours to my Sunday shows due to Sports overruns during 
the day.  Are you suggesting that desiring to move the X minutes from 
the overrun of the previous show and the X minutes of extra recording at 
the end of the show I actually wanted is a waste?  Are you also 
suggesting that not desiring to store an extra 12GB of spce for every 
Sunday show that I choose to keep longer than watch and delete is a 
waste?

This argument seems to be along the lines of the "So what if live TV is 
broken, you shouldn't use it anyways" argument from not so long ago.  
TBH, it's a bit of a ridiculous argument, if it shouldn't be used, take 
it out.
