Here's a link to a wrapper script that might be adaptable; but
mythpreviewgen still seems to be overactive. If I scroll down my 'Watch
recordings ' screen I see new previews, from the first few frames of the
file; when I scroll up again I see the 'normal' ones, from much later.
With a full-size preview that's going to be more obvious.
