[mythtv-users] Playing back videos from digital camera stutters

Hello,

I'd like to use MythTV for watching digital photographs and videos. I
noticed that the playback of videos from an older Canon digital camera
(*.avi, MJPEG, 640x480) stutters significantly, about once a second
for maybe one-two tenths of a second. When I start mythfrontend with
"-v playback", I get lots of the errors below.

Interestingly, the larger videos from a newer Canon camera (*.MOV,
1920x1080, H264) play very well, as well as TV recordings in HD and
all else.

Any hints which setting I could tune?

Many thanks,

Enno
