I'm back on the list after a long time away...shows how stable myth has got.
I've got a very nice 0.26 system setup, recording and playing live dvb-t in the UK. I have an nvidia geforce 8400GS, running SD via s-video to a Sony 16:9 CRT TV
My issue is this: Myth generally respects my xorg.conf settings, scaling all video correctly. However fullscreen video watched via mythnetvision (BBC iplayer etc) is distorted, displaying too short with oversize letterboxing.
Nvidia tv-out is limited i think to 640x480 or 800x600, so only 4:3 resolutions seem to work.
My relevant xorg details:
DisplaySize 740 420
Option "metamodes" "TV-0: 1024x768 { ViewPortIn=1024x768, ViewPortOut=652x412+48+33 }"
# above option provides overscan correction for Sony TV
Is there any way to force mythnetvision's aspect ratio or scaling? Or does anyone know a better way to configure my xorg?
Many thanks
