TVHeadend is a backend video recorder/ streamer, more a competitor to MythTV than a collaborator. I use it for some situations where MythTV is not the right thing, e.g. live TV ;-)

I have a couple of less used satellite feeds where this kind of box might be ideal, I wonder if it could be persuaded to run a MythTV slave backend, that would be very interesting.
