[mythtv-users] Cannot install X development packages

After a bit of troubleshooting I noticed in the apt log that the xserver-xorg-dev package is causing the mythbuntu-desktop package to be removed (see below).  I assume this is what's causing my issue.  If this is the case, I'm curious to know why the dependency exists and what I need to do to install the X development packages.

It seems like the issue is a mytbuntu packaging one rather than something strictly mythtv, but I thought I'd mention it here anyway in case anyone else runs into something similar.  In any case, I eventually gave up and just cloned a different front end.
