Using mythcentre-wide theme & 0.26+fixes..
I found the "blue-abstract" theme had metadata editing problems..
Assuming metadata lookup is enabled in backend & allowed for applicable
recording rule..
I find that to correct the metadata for a recording (finished) you have
to perform a little mental gymnastics..
- From "recordings" screen
- recording options
- edit schedule --> metadata options
- set the series & episode numbers (for TV shows)
- scan for inetref
- if found scan/select artwork.
- remember the inetref
- save & exit back to "recordings"
- recording options -> edit metadata
- enter inetref & set series episode numbers..
Scheduled (pending) recordings can be fixed directly from
scheduler/recording rule etc i.e. the last 2 steps not required.
So if you fix the metadata before the recording ends it is much more
straight forward.
It makes some sense that completed recordings are a "snapshot in time" &
the inetref can only be changed manually.
The "Videos" storage group has more flexible metadata lookup menus..
