This is in regards to this thread:

I am also getting segfaults from mythfrontend with nVidia 290.10 video
drivers. I never experienced this problem on my old hardware with this
version but I recently upgraded to a new system and mythfrontend is
crashing sporadically. Every time the frontend crashes, their is a
reference to libnvidia-tls.so.290.10 in /var/log/messages. I ran
memtest86+ for 10 hours without issues and compiled the kernel for about an
hour without seeing things in an effort to find a hardware culprit.
I wondered what others did to install the older nVidia drivers. I am
running Fedora 16 and have used rpmfusion's drivers without issue until
now. I have installed the nVidia binary drivers before with their
installer. I'm more concerned with removing the RPMs I installed with yum.
Can anyone assist?
Thanks,
Jerry
