Thanks for clarifying. I understand where you're coming from now. I
don't think I'd call either approach illogical, though, just two
different ways to tackle the problem. I'd be fine with either one.

Instead of a comparison to Word, I'd be more interested in how the
problem is handled in other media center applications.
