For players, I bought a blu-ray drive from Newegg for 40 bucks. It works
with makemkv and sort of works with mythavtest (but I haven't tried in
months) and works fine with DVDs. Personally for that price I'd go with
Blu-Ray just to feel like I'm sort of future-proofing things.
