Hi
I would like some assistance and advice to help me navigate the interface of
Myth media and video gallery.
When I go into Image Gallery to try to point to a folder that contains my
images I see "No images found in this directory" I presume because it is
looking just in the folder setup by Myth however can I not select a
directory on another computer in my home network and if so how
At the bottom I have the cryptic options Select View; Activate Menu? ?
Also I don't want a second copy of music on the myth box but would like to
point to folders on other network PC's and have a central way of playing
music that is stored on other accessible shares just like most media centre
solutions work.
It is all very strange and so unlike any other media centre setup where it
is very easy to centralise all your resources with good scan and import file
path data functionality.
Similarly in Music Tools - When I choose "Select Music" I see no way to
select a network share even though the Ubuntu installation can see other
shared folders through places with Samba. Myth music seems to assume all
the music is local? This can't be right surely? In "Import Files" how do I
select a network location and if I do will I have a pointer to the network
music store or will Myth Music try to copy all the MP# files locally?
I would like a music library that lists music that is located in various
physical locations as one centralised logical store. Can this be done with
Myth Music?
Any advice on how this is supposed to be configured or a pointer to a good
user guide?
Many Thanks
Anthony
