I was talking to Ed Graczyk at Ceton. I am not sure how much he understands
or how up to date he is on this effort. At first he stated that no OS other
then Windows would support any CableCard device. After some convincing, he
did a complete 180, and stated that they are adding support for MythTV, but
not Linux in general.
When you say "it would not be the ideal solution", do you mean that it would
put a high load on my backend, it wouldn't be stable, or something else?
I am so excited about this card, I can barely contain myself!
