That setup should be fine for what you want to do.  I have a similar
setup that can handle h264 content from my hd-pvr, which is much more
cpu intensive than OTA mpeg2.

For me mythcommflag is a bit slow, but not so bad once I enabled 2 jobs
and turned on the experimental flagging option in the setup.  DVD
burning is very slow, but I'm OK with waiting until the next day for a disc.
