Just wondering if anyone here has any experience with the Zotac
Z68ITX-B-E motherboard? It's an Intel Z68 Mini-ITX board; it's fairly
unique in that it includes an integrated nVidia GT430. Seems like it
would be nearly ideal for a frontend machine. To me, the appeal is
that since the GT430 is integrated, it saves on space. And depending
on what kind of CPU cooler is used (e.g. big top-down blower), seems
like you might be able to build something that is fairly cool, quiet,
and small (of course you pay a premium for the integration).
I tried to solicit some feedback on the XBMC forum
(http://forum.xbmc.org/showpost.php?p=950566&postcount=5), but got
minimal response. So I thought I'd try here. :) If anyone here has
any experience with the board, I'd be interested in hearing about it.
Particularly if you happened to take power consumption measurements;
also interested in the bottom of the board---there was some discussion
somewhere (HardForum IIRC) that suggested there are a lot of
components on the back that hinder installation of heatsinks that
require a plate.
Thanks!
Matt
