At work we put a number of TVs into a customer as public displays - 
42" Samsungs IIRC. I tried them on DVI from the computer but could 
NOT get a 1:1 pixel mapping, and not only that, but the amount of 
underscan* varied depending which output on the PC was being used !

* After turning off overscan.

Connected them with VGA, they reported native resolutions, and 
everything worked just fine.
