So far as I know, this should have worked, no clue why it didn't.
iirc, it should be the 'Hauppauge_350' remote definition that gets
matched. Not sure where my hdpvr remote is these days, or I'd try it
out with one of my mceusb transceivers...

irrecord is... often flaky. Better to start with the generic/RC-5.conf
file as a base and irrecord on top of that.
