[mythtv-users] Error: MythTV is using all inputs but there are no active recordings?

Well, I was convinced that ubuntu had broken something and would
have dismissed the idea that it could be coincidence... but after several
attempts at deleting tuners/sources and re-adding them with no luck, I found
this in my logs:

Channel(/dev/video0)::Open(): Can't open video device, error "Permission denied"

Changed the permissions, restored a database backup, and was back up and
running in no time... No idea how the permissions got munged, but it seems
like mythtv could detect that and have an error message, instead of sleeping
tuners...
