[mythtv-users] menu texts not visisble

Sorry, but this tip didn't help.
Using either opengl or qt I still do not see the menu texts.
The exit confirmation thingie does show text, though.

The trebuchet fonts (as used by Retro-Wide) are in my ~/.fonts.
