[mythtv-users] DVD autoplay

DVD autoplay doesn't work for me (nothing happens).

- I have Setup / General / Monitor CD/DVD ticked

- I have Setup / Media Settings / Videos Settings / Location of DVD device
set to /dev/dvd (which is symlinked to /dev/hda, and is correct)

- I have On DVD Insertion set to Play DVD

If I insert a DVD, /var/log/messages shows:

Jan 9 21:46:28 msimyth kernel: [ 162.136751] UDF-fs: Partition marked
readonly; forcing readonly mount

Jan 9 21:46:28 msimyth kernel: [ 162.225392] UDF-fs INFO UDF: Mounting
volume 'TCP', timestamp 2006/09/18 17:36 (1000)

My MythTV frontend log shows, intriguingly, "umount: only root can
unmount /dev/hda from /media"

/etc/fstab contains:

/dev/hda /media udf,iso9660 user,noauto,exec,utf8 0 0

I can play DVDs if I select "Play DVD".

System: Debian Lenny with MythTV 0.22+fixes20100105-0.1

I'm missing something, and I'd be grateful for clues as to what it is.

Thanks,
Keith
