Did you happen to upgrade php recently?  I run myth on Mepis - Debian based - and last week there were updates for php and I thin apache.  After applying those updates mythweb was dog slow in rendering.  For a while the recorded page would 
not fully render. Things have since improved.  It's almost as if there was some cache that was going beserk.

The issue cleared up on it's own, though I did have to reboot because my wireless keyboard froze so that may have effected it too.
