I'm glad that you were able to get the sql file generated properly.

FWIW, I wasn't able to get the xmltvids automatically populated by 
mythfilldatabase (but, I didn't investigate why).

I just filled them in manually using mythweb (after getting the xmltvids 
from schedules direct), and then ran mythfilldatabase with the 
--refresh-all argument, and then did it again using the --refresh-today 
argument.

Worked like a champ for me, although I only have fifteen channels to 
deal with when it is all said, and done. I guess that it might be 
worthwhile to troubleshoot if you have lots of viewable channels to modify.
