[mythtv-users] all tuners suddenly unavailable

After a power outage, I started getting "recorder failed" errors for
both of my HD-PVRs. I should have thought of power cycling them but
unfortunately I didn't, I went into panic mode and deleted all my
capture cards and re-entered them (I have since done the power cycle and
rebooted to no avail). This usually works when something is screwy with
the tuners, but this time it has totally hosed everything. No matter
what I do, the system tuner status shows all tuners as unavailable (two
HD-PVRs and one from an HDHomerun).

What I get in the logs is below. This sort of looks like 6200ch is
failing to set the channel, but I think it's more than that. If I run
the 6200ch command manually, it works fine.

If I run something like "cat /dev/video0 > tst0", the record light goes
on and I do get output, but I can't play it with mplayer. All I get is
lots of errors like this and no video:

[h264 @ 0x87bd5e0]sps_id out of range073 449/449 0% 0% 0.0% 0
0

[h264 @ 0x87bd5e0]sps_id out of range
[h264 @ 0x87bd5e0]no frame!
Error while decoding frame!

If anyone can provide some hints as to how I can debug this, it would be
greatly appreciated. My Myth system is basically useless at the moment
until I can fix this problem.

Thank you,
--Greg
