[mythtv-users] upnp problems using 0.23 backend on Ubuntu 10.04

Looks like the hd upnp playback problem I have is the same as the one filed
in Trac ticket 8477.

I installed 0.23.1 last night and to my surprise this does not include the
fix for 8477. The fix is trivial and local and would have fixed a upnp
blocker issue. What is the process to decide on fixes to go into a release?

I switched to 0.24 autobuild and I am now able to play my HD content again
over upnp.
