[mythtv-users] HDMI input from set top box

I'm hoping to capture HD input from a set top box (just planning).  Most
STB's have component and HDMI outputs.  So
 
1. Are there HDMI INPUT cards which work with myth?
2. Do STB's use HDCP encryption on HDMI video from Sat/Cable?
3. Are there Component INPUT cards which work with myth?
 
I did a search of the Wili and archives (but these discussions look dated).
Anything new?
