[mythtv-users] Weak audio for digital channels but normal on analog

I have a onboard realtek alc662 as listed by aplay below. I have no  
problem with the sound playing analog channels but have a weak sound  
when playing digital. I have to crank up the volume high to get good  
sound. I have tried updating the ALSA drivers to the latest, tried all  
mixer combinations in myth and gnome-volume-control without any  
success. I also tried a pci audio card and have the same problem. I  
have searched through the list and the net for references for couple  
weeks now. I am currently running mythdora's latest release. I tried  
mythbuntu and experienced the same issue. Has anybody encountered this?

I have one pvr-350 and one hvr-1250. I have also tried other digital  
tuners and they have the same problem. The pvr is connected to a  
comcast STB and the hvr directly to cable using clear QAM.
