Thanks for that.

Dmesg | fgrep "dvb" generates:-
cx88/2: cx2388x dvb driver version 0.0.6 loaded
cx88/2: registering cx8802 driver, type: dvb access: shared

and lspci | fgrep "dvb" generates:-
cx88_dvb               22484  0
cx88_vp3054_i2c         2688  1 cx88_dvb
videobuf_dvb            7124  1 cx88_dvb
dvb_core               88028  2 cx88_dvb,videobuf_dvb
cx8802                 15796  2 cx88_blackbird,cx88_dvb
cx88xx                 72872  5
cx88_blackbird,cx88_dvb,cx8800,cx88_alsa,cx8802
videobuf_dma_sg        11828  6
cx88_blackbird,cx88_dvb,cx8800,cx88_alsa,cx8802,cx88xx
videobuf_core          16372  6
cx88_blackbird,videobuf_dvb,cx8800,cx8802,cx88xx,videobuf_dma_sg

I am still unable to generate the channels within MythTV, although I am able
to run the tv_grab_uk_rt utility, but when I copy the resultant file into
.mythtv/mollcons.xmltv, I still cannot see the channels in setup.

I am trying to run mythfilldatabase --manual but am having problems
populating the channel list in mollcons.xmltv. Currently the first few lines
look like this:-

encoding=utf-8
cachedir=/home/chris_jones/.xmltv/cache
title-processing=enabled
postcode=CH1
platform=freeview
channel=4music.channel4.com
channel=bbcfour.bbc.co.uk
channel=news.bbc.co.uk
channel=north-west.bbc1.bbc.co.uk

Is this the correct format? Or should there be more information?
