It's not often you're wrong but I think you are this time :-) The old
KDE based MythBrowser has supported plugins for a while now even in
0.21-fixes (http://cvs.mythtv.org/trac/changeset/13437). The new WebKit
based version in trunk also supports plugins but only if qt >= 4.5.0 is
used.
