the last thread rekindled my interest in my sitting idle patiently
awaiting hd pvr support.  I decided to use johns ppa  here

to upgrade mythtv, downloaded and installed the hdpvr driver (latest
v4l-dvb) successfully.

I can cat /dev/video0 and get video from the hdpvr, but when setting it
up as a source im a bit lost as ive never used an external channel
change script (currently just using a couple pvr 150's and an hdhr)

been googling around a bit, but what am i suppose to use?  firewire is
out, its blocked and they wont turn it on (TW) id like to just use the
blaster that came with the hdpvr if i could with the SA4250HDC I have.
is that what everyone else does? can one of you kindly point me to a
script or maybe instructions on how to set it up?
