Charging more for the same antennas or marketing inferior antennas as
being superior based on some irrelevent metric is certainly a
deceptive practice. But merely adding to the packaging information
indicating that these antennas are able to pick up the new digital HD
signal seems like a good idea to me. The general public is never going
to understand the difference between NTSC and ATSC or UHF and VHF, but
they know that *something* changed and now they can get a high quality
HD signal for free with an antenna. They just want to know that the
antenna they buy will work with this new signal.
