Actually one of the mvpmc devs did start to port mvpmc to the
popcornhour, which is another version of this NMT concept. Whether the
port was ever finished is unknown to me. googling doesn't seem to
produce anything very promising, eg this thread:

The mvpmc home page is a little uninspiring, with the latest news
being in 2007. I know that there may be more going on in svn and/or
their forums/mailing list, but you wouldn't think so from the home
page.
