    Some of us have had problems with the HD-PVR switching resolutions and
then becoming unusable. So, some of us have our STBs locked to a particular
resolution to work around this. This issue may be fixed in later releases
of the driver or trunk.

    Whatever you choose to do, you need to set up your STB appropriately first.

    That can be a chore of it's own. I'd recommend hooking your STB and HDPVR
up to a real TV for this part. While the HDPVR can do "Live TV", it takes it
a few seconds to get going and that plays havoc with trying to navigate the
menus on the STB.
