If your hdhomerun is pingable but cannot be contacted by 
hdhomerun_config or myth, you probably have a firewall problem.
Try an 'iptables -F', then try re-contacting the unit with 
hdhomerun_config discover.

If that works, you will need to adjust the firewall setup so that you do 
not lose contact with the unit on a reboot.
