[mythtv-users] What does this card mean for myth?

I hear they also make a standard pci-e card as well as the mini-pci-e shown
here.  So my question is: does this have any effect in the myth community?
Will this be a card that allows us to use even the legacy nvidia cards (non
VDPAU) we have lying around to build HD frontends?

Or am I reading the purpose of this card wrong?
